The Society is a group of audio equipment afficionados specializing in high end audio systems. The organization exists to facilitate interaction between its members, and spread the joy of listening to recorded music throughout the Triangle area. Basically we try to have fun with whatever is cool in this huge audio hobby. All are welcome. Yes, "All" means ALL!!    Please come join us.

We meet monthly at members' homes with the stated purpose of sharing information on how to improve our audio systems. But we really meet just to enjoy each others' audio systems and see what's new. The meetings occur at members' homes, but you do not have to have a fancy audio system to be a member. Come for fun and see what's happening in this great hobby.

As the organization matures, the intention is to feature guest speakers at our meetings, and maybe even brief, live music performances when the membership grows large enough to support such activities. The Triangle area is a real hotbed of audio innovation with many, very experienced audiophiles and a host of respected designers, manufacturers, and dealers.

A printed newletter is published to inform the less web savvy of area audio related happenings. Advertising space is available to inform the membership of audio related opportunities.

Sharing the joy of the high end audio hobby with the general public is a fundamental tenet of the society. We sponsor audio related activities at local schools, whether music listening or technical, and providing high end audio listening opportunities to the general public will be on the agenda in meetings. Please consider creating and/or participating in one of our community programs.
